How it works
Everyone shares what they have, everyone gets the whole archive. The more people share, the easier exam season gets.
Pick a username and password, then choose your university and department. No email or phone needed.
Share one course note or past exam PDF you have. That is your key to the department archive.
Your classmates vote on your note. If more of them accept it within 24 hours, your note is published and you get access to the archive.
Notes and past exams uploaded by your classmates open up, organized by year and course.
Why Finaller?
Notes are visible only to registered students of the same university and department; nothing is public.
No real name, email or phone number required. Only your username appears next to your notes.
Students vote on notes, so the genuinely useful ones move to the top of the list.
Only PDFs are accepted. Content that breaks the rules is reviewed and removed when reported.
Universities
Click your department on your university's page and the sign-up form opens with both already selected.
FAQ
Choose your university and department when you create your free account. Upload one course note or past exam PDF; once it is approved, the whole archive shared by your department opens up.
For 24 hours, your note is open to a vote by the students in your department who have archive access. If more of them accept it when the round ends, your note is published and you get access to the archive; if more reject it, the note is rejected. If nobody votes or the votes are tied, voting continues with a new 24-hour round (round 2, round 3…). If nobody in your department can vote yet, the admin decides. Other students never see who voted which way.
You will see the reason under your note on the My Notes page. You can try again by uploading a new note that follows the rules.
PDF files with course notes, summaries or past exam questions, up to 15 MB each. Your notes should cover all the topics of a midterm or final. Your instructor's lecture slides, content prepared by someone else, books you have no right to share and documents with personal data such as student details are not accepted.
